With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Evelyn Vaden (Mayodan, North Carolina), born in Stokes, North Carolina, who passed away on April 19, 2019 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Hardy, Bud, James "Red", Danny Steele, Mildred Oakley and Nancy Atkins.
She is survived by: her son William Vaden (Linda); her granddaughters, Paula Armstrong (Earl) and Karen Hodges (Ronald); her great grandchildren, Kara, Will, Jenna and Grace; and her brothers, Bruce Steele (Mamie) and Richard Steele (Gloria).
