We are sad to announce that on May 17, 2021, at the age of 78, Bobby Ray Sands of Mayodan, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Noel Thomas Sands and Pauline McCandless Sands; and his sister Nancy Sands Kendrick. He is survived by: his wife Carol Watkins Sands; his children, Bobby Allen Sands and Dana Sands Claybrook (Mike) of Madison; his close friend Samuel Michael Claybrook; his granddaughter Taylor Kallam; and his nephew Todd Kendrick (Jennifer) of Germanton, NC..
