He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Locklear and Clare Mae Locklear; and his siblings, Uvnal "Colonel" Locklear, Kurt Locklear, Bertha Locklear and Emily Locklear.
He is survived by: his sisters, Betty Locklear Smith, Josephine Locklear, Gearldine Locklear Hunt and Patsy Locklear; and his children, Candace Locklear Bailey (Lyndon) of Maxton, Wade H. Locklear Jr. of Starks, Kevin D. Locklear (Marquet' Locklear) of Sulphur Louisiana and Marcus D. Locklear. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
