He was predeceased by : his mother Patsy Ann Jones; his sister Helen Ann Oxendine; his grandparents, James, Jessie Lee Demery Jones, Sam Jacobs, Ozella Strickland and Annie C. Jones; and his mother-in-law Fannie Holt.

He is survived by : his father James Junior Jones (Helen) of Pembroke; his brother Aaron Jerome Locklear (AJ); his wife Kimberly Jones; his daughters, Kelli Nicole Jones, Kyra Denise Jones and Jada Flores; his pets, Tinker, Paris and Coco; his sisters, Ellie Jacobs (Wayland) of Lumberton, Denise Jones (Luis) of Maxton and Sheila Jones of Pembroke; and his in-laws, Terry Holt (Marie) of Maxton and Glen Holt (Paula) of Red Springs. He is also survived by twelve nieces and nephews, nineteen great nieces and nephews, special brothers.
