He is survived by: his children, Timmy Ray, Latria "Flossie" Freeman (Craig) of Bennettsville and Reva Shane Locklear of Laurinburg; his mother Geneva Huggin (Emory) of Maxton; his siblings, Glenn Locklear of Maxton, Crawford Locklear of Hamlet, Alex "Shane" Locklear of Maxton, Harold Hatcher of Ghio, Ray Hatcher of Louisiana and Betty Jo Locklear of Rockingham; his grandchildren, Daniel Nolan, Jr., Christopher Locklear, Shania Locklear and Josiah Locklear; and his child Debbie Locklear. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
