She was predeceased by: her parents, Chason L. Oxendine and Addie Mae Locklear Oxendine; her husband Jerry Locklear; her daughter Connie Locklear; and her siblings, Thomas Martin Oxendine, Martin Earl Oxendine and Bonnie Faye Horton.
She is survived by: her daughter Lynn Locklear (Michael); her siblings, Harold Dean Oxendine (Mary Mitchell) of Wagram, Susan O. Deese of Maxton and Marian O. Chavis of Rowland; her grandchildren, Jerran Strickland and Micah Locklear; and her close friend Nicia Ann Strickland. She is also survived by nieces and nephews as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
