With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Samantha Ann Clark of Maxton, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 28, 2025 at the age of 51. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Jannie McGirt Spence; her grandparents, Bill, Gretchen McGirt, Birce and Lillie Mae Cooper; and her nephew Carmicheal Cooper.
She is survived by: her father Everette Cooper (Carolyn); her daughters, Skyla Hunt of Laurinburg and Lakota Todd (Bradley) of Laurinburg; her brother Chris Cooper (Linda) of Maxton; her grandchildren, Landon Dakota Clark, Brianna Todd and Alyssa Todd; and her nieces and nephews, Christina Pate (Thomas), Cheyenne Cooper (David), Lizzie Cooper (Javier), Kelsondra Locklear, Crystal Lynn Cummings, Christopher Cooper (Nicole), Kelvin Locklear and Blake Locklear (Marcela). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (812 S Main St, Red Springs, NC 28377). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Gray Pond Baptist Church (9901 Stewartsville Cemetery Rd, Laurinburg, NC 28352).
