He is survived by: his wife Catherine Strickland; his daughters, Connie Barefoot (Junior Lawson) of Maxton, NC and Beverly Sweat of Maxton, NC; his brother Donald Strickland of Maxton, NC; his grandchildren, Courtney Strickland, Kelly Lynn Strickland, Garrett Adam Sweat and Scottie Wayne Parker; and his nieces and nephews, Billie Jo Strickland Phillips, Robin Lynn Strickland, Christopher Strickland and Donald Thompson. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
