She is survived by: her daughter Patty Faye Smiling of Pembroke; her siblings, Clinnie Bell Smith of Maxton and Joe Carlie Smiling of Maxton; her nieces and nephews, Archie Anthony Smith and Audrey Sanderson; and her extended family, Helen Chavis, Lois Mills, Liz Goins, Melissa Oxendine, Jeremy Sanderson and Sarah Sanderson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
