She was predeceased by: her husband William L. Smiling Sr.; her parents, Lloyd Cummings and Fodia Cummings; and her siblings, Betty, Lottie, Mattie, Bessie, Tessie, Donald, Garner, Harvey, Delton and Paul.
She is survived by: her children, Debbie Locklear (Dean), William Smiling Jr. (Stephanie) and Steven Smiling; her siblings, Samuel Cumming, Gurney Cummings, Mary Scott, Gail Locklear and Sara Kline; and her grandchildren, Daniel Locklear, Devon Locklear, Dustin Locklear, Garrett Hammonds, Jacob Smiling, Jared Smiling and Jillian Smiling.
