She was predeceased by : her parents, James Allen and Mary Margaret Stevens Scott. She is survived by : her children, Jamie Lynn Scott (Bryant Yanick) and James "Buddy" (Dawn) of Wagram; her grandchildren, Brandon Holcomb, Bradley "Root" Scott, Madi Scott, Braydon Yanick, Trey Gause and Austin Gause; and her great grandchildren, Anslee Smith and Heaven Gilchrist.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 24th 2024 from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Bumgarner Family Funeral Service and Crematorium (305 E Church St, Laurinburg, NC 28352). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Bumgarner Family Funeral Service and Crematorium Chapel (305 E Church St, Laurinburg, NC 28352). A burial was held on Tuesday, June 25th 2024 at the Hillside Memorial Park.
