She was predeceased by: her parents, Somerset Strickland and Hayes Lowery Strickland; her husband LeRoy Revels; her daughter Deborah Lynn Miller; her grandson Roger Hoyet Strickland; and her siblings, Graham Strickland, Somerset Strickland, Jr., Danny Strickland, Stanton Strickland, Eddie Strickland, Fannie Strickland, Willmyner Strickland, Ruby Staples and Flora Jane Locklear.
She is survived by: her children, Leroy Revels, Jr. (Tara) of Pembroke, Linda Henely, Sandra S. Dial of Maxton and Jenny Pat Deal (Lee) of Rowland.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel (13640 Andrew Jackson Hwy, Laurinburg, NC 28352). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Shady Grove Baptist Church (1818 Bethea Rd, Maxton, NC 28364). A committal service will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Strickland Family Cemetery. A burial will be held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at the same location.
The family requests memorial donations be given in her memory to the Shady Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 9003 McFarland Road, Laurel Hill, NC 28351.
