She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Hunt and Maggie Hunt; her husband James Demery; and her siblings, Johnny Hunt, Dock Hunt and Juanita Lambert.
She is survived by: her children, James Demery (Mary) of Raynham, Rose Mary Sencenbaugh (Keith) of Maxton, Barbara Carter (Darrell) of Raynham and Glenda Strickland (Duane) of Maxton; and her close friend Robin Barton. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren.
