It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janine Jones Strickland of Maxton, North Carolina, who passed away on August 15, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Strickland. She is survived by: her parents, Harold Locklear and Rosa Jones Locklear of Maxton; her children, Robert Michael Strickland of Maxton, Jackyln Janine Jones of Maxton, Victoria Shannon Jones of Maxton, Kisha Lynn Strickland of Maxton and Samantha Rose Strickland of Shannon; her siblings, Lloyd Allen Scott of Maxton, John Eric Scott of Maxton, Robert Patrick Scott of Maxton, Lori Ann Locklear of Maxton and Teresa Carol Scott of Maxton; and her close friend Joshua Locklear. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
