As we bid adieu to Hazel's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Hazel has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She is survived by: her daughter Niaja P. Foxworth; and her sisters, Mildred Applewhite, Linda Watson and Marie Rogers.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Pm's & L Funeral Home and Cremation Service (304 N Patterson St, Maxton, NC 28364). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Matthew AME Zion Church (608 S Patterson St, Maxton, NC 28364).
