It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evie Marie Mckenzie (Maxton, North Carolina), who passed away on August 9, 2022, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Vardell Locklear; her sister Christina Locklear; her grandparents, Wilton, Lystra Oxendine, Archie and Ida Rae Locklear; and her stepbrother Dennis Locklear.
She is survived by: her husband Timothy McKenzie; her children, Timothy McKenzie II, Nicholas McKenzie (Dianna) of Lumberton and Aiyanna Lynn Mckenzie; her granddaughter Pay Pay of Lumberton; her goddaughter Mahaley Locklear of Maxton; her mother Gwendolyn Locklear; her stepfather Joe J. Locklear of Maxton; her sisters, Missie Locklear of Lumberton and Lynette Locklear of Maxton; and her stepsiblings, Samantha Hunt, Joann Hammonds, Teresa Locklear, Charles Butler, Robbie Locklear and Cary Locklear. She is also survived by two nephews; six nieces.
