She is survived by: her children, Senorita Bethea, Latrisha Perry, Helen Bethea and Willie James Bethea; and her siblings, James E. Bethea, Everette Bethea, Mandy Thomas, Martha Gillespie and Frances Bethea. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and twenty five great grandchildren.
