Dorothy McDaniel Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy McDaniel of Maxton, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 11, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Dorothy had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Dorothy may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She is survived by: her children, Demitirus McNair and Markeen McDaniel; and her sister Pearline McDaniel. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. George United Methodist Church (501 Dr M L King Jr Dr, Maxton, NC 28364).
