She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Jones and Annie Clark Jones; her son Ken Locklear; and her siblings, Melvin Jones, Reginald Jones, Guy Jones Jr., Eugene Jones, Mary Chavis, Annie Lois Locklear and Annie Ruth Locklear.
She is survived by: her siblings, Mitchell Jones of Maxton, Ronald Jones (Patsy) of Pembroke, Betty Locklear (Haven) of Maxton, Doreather Esquibel (Angel) of Maxton and Judy Locklear (Cordell) of Maxton; her niece Brandie Mendoza (Agustin); her nephews, Andy Locklear and Donovan Bowen; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Abian Mendoza, Aiden Mendoza, Lidia Mendoza, Hannah Locklear and James Austin Mendoza. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (812 S Main St, Red Springs, NC 28377).
