He was predeceased by: his mother Gertie Mae Jacobs; and his son Mitch Oxendine. He is survived by: his wife Robin Steen Jacobs; his children, Willie Von Lowery of Pembroke, NC, Jessica K. Hunt (Jamie Hunt) of Pembroke, NC and Holden D. Jacobs of Maxton, NC; his sisters, Joyce J. Russ (Harold) of Florida and Margaret Locklear of Maxton; his grandchildren, Skyler Lowery, Chyane Lowery and Samara Lowery; and his great grandchild Koda Ray Wisdom. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
