He was predeceased by: his parents, Daughtry Bell and Ethel Chavis Bell; his son Daughtry Bell; his brothers, Raeford Bell, Lee Junior Bell and Paul Bell; and his grandsons, Cashley Scott and Randy Locklear.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Bell; his children, Jerry Bell, Sr. (Ariel) of Clarkton, Terry Bell of Maxton, Kelly Bell (Cassandra) of Rowland, Anita Locklear of Maxton, Edward Locklear of Maxton, Albert Locklear (Angie) of Maxton and Connie Katekovich (Daniel) of Kernersville; and his siblings, Tommy Bell (Rosemary) of Asheville, Edward Pete Bell of Greensboro, Faye Bell of Maxton, Galelene Cummings of Maxton, Dorothy Chavis of Maxton, Jeanette Faulk of Greensboro and Mary Francis Brayboy (Harold) of Pembroke. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (812 S Main St, Red Springs, NC 28377). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mt Hebron Holiness Church (656 J R Rd, Maxton, NC 28364).
