He was predeceased by: his parents, Monroe Oxendine and Evelyn Locklear Oxendine; and his brothers, Jeffery Oxendine and Johnnie Lee Oxendine. He is survived by: his wife Amanda Hyatt Oxendine; his stepsons, Jeromie Norris (Amber) of Marion, SC, Dusty Hyatt (Alyssia) of Morganton and Devan Murrow of Maxton; his siblings, Randy Oxendine (Jacqueline) of Wilmington, Anthony Hunt (Sharon) of Laurinburg, Annie "Pearl" Oxendine Norton (Ben) of Maxton and Lisa Hunt (Greg) of Lumberton; his sisters-in-law, Beverly Kemmerlin and Jenny Renfro; and his cousin Juanita "Nita" Strickland. He is also survived by loving grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Richard Boles Funeral Service Chapel (13640 Andrew Jackson Hwy, Laurinburg, NC 28352). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
