Charles McArthur Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 9, 2025, at the age of 74, Charles McArthur of Maxton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, may Charles find peace everlasting, cradled in the gentle embrace of the universe. And as we stand on the shores of remembrance, may his legacy inspire us to live each day with purpose, passion, and profound gratitude for the gift of life itself.

He is survived by: his wife Hazel McArthur; his children, Clarice McArthur Bell, LaDonna McArthur Love, Timothy Devon McArthur and Bryant Keith Thompson; and his sister Joyce McArthur. He is also survived by four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Pm's & L Funeral Home and Cremation Service (304 N Patterson St, Maxton, NC 28364). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Greater Piney Grove United Methodist Church (5135 NC-83, Maxton, NC 28364).
