She was predeceased by: her parents, John Archie and Betty Lois Locklear; her grandparents, Luther, Retha Mae Jacobs, Huey and Callie Locklear; and her aunts and uncles, Letha Mae Harris, Rachael Jacobs, Edith Jacobs, Vardell Jacobs (Purcell), P. H. Locklear, Thurman Locklear, Sandy Oxendine and Rev. Hartford Harris.
She is survived by: her husband Jerome Hammonds; her sons, Jason Locklear (Angela) and Rev. Brian Keith Locklear; her siblings, Helen Locklear of Maxton, Gail Oxendine (Larry) of Rowland, Mary Locklear of Maxton, Annette Locklear (Patrick) of Shannon, Melissa Bullard (John) of Maxton and Ander; her grandchildren, Isaiah Locklear, Ikiah Locklear and Jacob Locklear; her great grandchild Delilah Faye Locklear; and her aunts, Karby Lane Locklear of Rowland and Annie Lois Oxendine of Maxton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
