He was predeceased by: his parents, Cain Thompson, Sr. and Geraldine Locklear Thompson; and his siblings, Kent Hunt, Teresa Ward and Linda Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Scott Thompson; his children, Chad Brian Hunt (Nikki), Terry Allen Scott and Felicia Kay Scott Locklear (Marty); his siblings, Melvin Hunt, Willie Thompson, Tommy Thompson, William Hunt, Joe Hunt, Rick Hunt, Charles Thompson, Bobby Steen, Marlene Locklear, Amy Oxendine, Milisa Cooper and Charlene Steen; and his grandchildren, Anthony Carter, Destiny Chavis, Tinera Hunt, Jessie Locklear, Chelsea Locklear and Bryson Scott. He is also survived by friends as a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.
