He is survived by: his wife Maxine Richardson Oxendine; his daughter Liz Oxendine Cummings (Mark); his siblings, Leroy Oxendine (Mary Hazel) of Maxton, Eddie Oxendine of Maxton, Alene Lemons of Fayetteville and Betty Lou Johnson of High Point; his grandchildren, Noah Cummings and Raven Cummings of Pembroke; and his extended family, Charles, Lois Richardson of Rowland, Harold, Dianne Richardson of Maxton, Mary Lois Oxendine of Pembroke and Donald Revels of Pembroke. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
