She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Babe Jacobs and Annie Barnes; her husband Jerry Locklear; and her siblings, Willis Barnes, William Barnes, Buck Barnes, Fred Hunt, Estelle Locklear, Rosa Lee Barnes and Roberta Jacobs.

She is survived by: her children, Timmy Jacobs of McColl and Carolyn Locklear (Darren) of Maxton; her grandchildren, Timmy Jacobs Jr., Kriska Ann Jacobs and Camry Cheyenne Jacobs; her great grandchildren, Leland Jacobs, Lance Jacobs, Alina Jacobs, Kaelen Jacobs and Bryson Malcolm; her grandchildren, Aaron Cody Emanuel, Jeremiah Cole Emanuel and Miach Elijah Emanuel; her sisters, Margaret Oxendine of Charlotte and Grace Lee Morgan of Baltimore Md; her godson Matthew Emanuel (Sabrina); and her nieces, Lisa Emanuel, Maxine Bullard and Christina Bullard. She is also survived by great nieces and nephews, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
