We are sad to announce that on July 6, 2019, at the age of 84, William Steward Hendrick (Matthews, North Carolina), born in Roanoke, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Steward Hendrick and Rachel Byrd White; his wife Dorothy Jane Boothe Hendrick; and his grandson Derek Hammaker. He is survived by: his children, Linda Hammaker (David), John Hendrick (Melissa) and Darrell Hendrick (Julie); his siblings, Sandra Williamson and Randy Hendrick; his grandchildren, Shannon Hulbert (Caleb) and Michael Hendrick (Madison); and his close friend Kathleen Bowden.
