He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. William Lee Ramseur, Sr. and Christine Rhyne Ramseur. He is survived by: his wife Candace Carroll Welsted; his children, Jonathan Ramseur (Rose) of Fairfax, VA and Jennifer Ramseur Kachel (Chris) of Charlotte, NC.; his grandchildren, Aleksander, Evan Ramseur, Emmeline, Bennett and Eleanor Kachel; and his sister Coral (Louis Helms). He is also survived by many in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.
His active medical career was cut short when he was in his fifties due to Parkinson's Disease although he continued to work in the free clinic and never lost his interest in medicine.
