He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elzie Marlin Edens and Flora Boyd Edens; his wife Jeanette Edens of Matthews; his stepchildren, Lynn Presson (Philip) of Monroe and Scott Allen (Hope) of Mineral Springs; his grandchildren, Alex LeFlore (Allison), McKenzie LeFlore, Jack Allen and Nate Allen; his nieces, Cheri Gilley (Doc) of Little River, S. C. and Betty LeRoux (Daneel) of Greenville, N. C; and his nephew Bill Horsley (Laura) of Eden, N. C..
