With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vermelle Wise Taylor (Matthews, North Carolina), born in Pelion, South Carolina, who passed away on March 13, 2019 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd Taylor; her daughter Barbara Jeanette Taylor; and her siblings, Elaine Spigner, Eula Shumpert, Elsie Gunter and Leonard Wise.

She is survived by: her nephews, Cecil Dykes, Tommy Gunter, Leon Gunter and Ray Gunter; her daughter Linda Robbins (Chuck) of Matthews, NC; her grandchildren, Tyler Robbins, Chris Robbins and Sarah Robbins; and her sister-in-law Louise Wise.
