She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Stogner and Atha Lee Campbell Stogner; her husband Joe Howard McClain; her son Wilson; her granddaughter Bridget Darnell; and her great great grandchild Waylon Charles.
She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Rushing (Ralph) of Matthews, Reverend Billy Jo McClain of West Virginia, Vicki Forbis Collins (Tommy) of Marshville, Michael McClain of Matthews and Debbie Connell of Denver, NC; and her sister Nancy Garner (Jim) of Charlotte. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, numerous great and great great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
