She is survived by: her significant other Jim Coale; her children, Scott (Peggy), Stuart (Melissa) and Elizabeth Chase (John); her grandchildren, Daniel (Kelly), Philip (Rebecca), Chase, Austin, Alex, Coale, James and Burke; her great grandchildren, Oliver, Henry and Ruby; and her sister-in-law Irene Trego.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Margaret's Episcopal Church (8515 Rea Rd, Waxhaw, NC 28173).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Suzanne's name to the National Park Conservation Association.
