It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steve Rogers of Matthews, North Carolina, born in Woodruff, South Carolina, who passed away on October 2, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Rogers and Mary Louise Jackson Rogers; and his sister Pruden Ardrey. He is survived by: his wife Annette Harvley Rogers of Matthews; his daughters, Holley Rogers Tillman (Chad) of Matthews and Mary Anna Johnson (Kevin) of Kannapolis; his siblings, Frank Rogers, Jr. (Patricia) of Boone and Anna Margaret Cocorus (Brent) of Campobello, SC; and his grandchildren, Kayla, Carlie Tillman of Matthews, Fisher and Tate Johnson of Kannapolis.
