It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shimron Shazzan Rothwell of Matthews, North Carolina, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on December 2, 2023, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Ricks and Valarie Rothwell; and his brother Maz. He is survived by: his wife Renee Bailey Rothwell; and his sons, Tarone Rothwell and Shimron Smith. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
