It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Irwin Drake Jr. of Matthews, North Carolina, who passed away on June 19, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carole; his children, Kevin (Lynae), Tracy Drake-Smith (Trevin) and Nancy Zachary (Eric); his grandchildren, Kenzie, Kalli, Kyrsten and Gage; his pets, Moose, Diggs, Cooper, Finder and Keeper; his father Alfie; and his sisters, Dawn Redlin and Nancy Lucas. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews.
