He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Linda Williams Forbis; his sons, Bryan Forbis (Deb) of Charlotte, NC and Dale Forbis (Dawn) of Huntersville, NC; his grandchildren, Cassie Davis (Matt), Jamie Jackson (John), Trent Forbis (Ashley) and Blair Stickley (Greg); and his great grandchildren, Macie, Aubrey Stickley, Kylie, Mia Davis, William and Reagan Jackson.
