He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Anne Morgan; and his parents, Reece Hampton Morgan, Sr. and Ruby Green Morgan. He is survived by: his children, Carole Morgan Rowden of West Columbia, Timothy Reece Morgan (Robin) of Monroe and Kenneth Scott Morgan of Mint Hill; his siblings, Charles Linwood Morgan (Faye) of Newton, Ruby Josephine Todd (Clayton) of Conover and Linda Ann Morgan Archer of Cary; and his grandchildren, Morgan Rowden Hash (Brett), Joseph William Morgan (Meghan), Claire Victoria Morgan and Bailey Reneau Rowden.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Parkinson's Disease Association (APDAParkinson.org) in memory of Reece Hampton Morgan, Jr.
