She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse T. Helms and Minnie McCoy Helms; her husband E. A. Privatte "Pete"; and her siblings, J. T. Helms, Jr., James Helms and Ginny Hovis.
She is survived by: her son Darrell Privatte (Jan) of Greer; her grandchildren, Brent Privatte (Samantha) of Duncan and Annie Privatte Coley (Jerren) of Greenville; her great grandchildren, Brody Fowler, Caroline Privatte, Nolan Privatte, Joe Coley and Cori Coley; her sisters, Lois Belk, Kallie Hatchell and Phyllis Parker; and her caregiver Cindy Lewis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
