He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle Tillman Vandiver and Dorothy "Kate" Outen Vandiver. He is survived by: his children, Julie Lynne Vandiver and Paul Holmes Vandiver Jr. Paul; his wife Maxine Vandiver; and his grandson Harrison Vandiver.
