She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Cartwright and Grace Cartwright. She is survived by: her husband Marvin Pearson; her children, John Ward (Mary) of Lexington, SC, Bruce Ward of Toronto, Canada and Penny Elliott Banasiewiez (Michael) of Toronto, Canada; and her grandsons, John Ward, Josh Ward and Robert Ward of Lexington, SC..
A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Forest Lawn East Cemetery (3700 Forest Lawn Dr, Weddington, NC 28104).
