It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Lee Simmons of Matthews, North Carolina, born in Wadesboro, North Carolina, who passed away on May 19, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Henry Hill and Vera Strickland Hill. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Annabelle and Grady; her stepgrandchild Lillianna; her husband Bill Simmons; her sons, Joseph Bryan Simmons (Allison) and Barry Lee Simmons (Diana); and her sister Susan Schaffer of Oak Island.
