She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert Hamilton; her children, Robert Hamilton Jr. (Melissa), Jennifer Canipe (Scott) and Tiffany Hamilton; her grandchildren, Brittany Farr (Jake), Sarah Bright (Chris), Robert S. Hamilton, Rachel Hamilton and Jared Canipe; her great grandchildren, Samuel Farr, Jovie Farr, Whitson Farr and Harrison Bright; her mother Katherine Funderburk; and her brother Jack Funderburk. She was also cherished by many other nieces, nephews, and loving extended family.

“We heard today about your painful loss of Nancy. Mildred was in the hospital due to possible stroke at the time of her passing and had no phone or email contact. She has been released and is at home now but still under doctor's care. We are devastated by Nancy's loss as we were friends and neighbors of many years and talked to them often until their recent illnesses. We offer Bob, Tiffany, Jennifer, Bobby Jr., and extended family our most heartfelt sympathy and support for any need.Luis,Mildred”
