It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Wayne Owens (Matthews, North Carolina), who passed away on November 10, 2019, at the age of 33, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jimmy D. Barnes, Lena Owens Barnes of Fairmont, NC, Robert M. Sealey and Jean Sealey of Parkton, NC.. He is survived by: his parents, Bobby Wayne Owens and Katherine Sealey Owens; his wife Kristi Hurst of Greensboro; and his aunts and uncles, Donna Faye Hodges (Ed, Jr.) of Fairmont, NC, Sharron Reagan of Holden Beach, NC, John "Bob" R. Sealey (Susan) of Parkton, NC and William "Bill" G. Sealey (Tammy) of Parkton, NC. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
