He is survived by: his parents, Rich Thompson and Irene Patalan; his brother Nikolas Thompson; his wife Michelle McDonough; his children, Hunter Scott, Sophie Irene and Dylan Michael; his brother Nik; his sister-in-law Aly; his nephew Miles; his niece Zoey; his sister Kristina; his brother-in-law Andrew; his niece Ella; and his nephew Kai. He is also survived by his brother and sister and nieces and nephews and friends.
During the pandemic, while enduring chemotherapy, the family would pile up on the couch and watch movies – cataloging 300 together during that time.
