It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Roy Land MD of Matthews, North Carolina, born in Sullivan, Indiana, who passed away on July 13, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Grover Land and Valeria May Land. He is survived by: his wife Maria Cagle Land; his sister Rebecca Land Ready; and his sons, Christopher Michael Land (Ashley), Dr. Eric Scott Land, Dr. Joel Alexander Land, Matthew Thomas Land (Gabriela), Jonathan Robert Martin (Elka) and Alexander Michael Martin (Lauren).
