She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Hanauer and Etta Rusher Hanauer of Huntington; and her former husband Donald E. Sincroft of North Manchester. She is survived by: her husband Howard Westphal of Evanston, Illinois.; her daughter Sally Ann Carnahan (Terry); her grandchildren, Tom Kanagy and Amanda Sanderson (Chad); her great grandchild Andrew James; her nieces, June Morgan (Brett) and Gloria Muelbauer (David); and her stepchildren, Patricia Westphal, Mary Wells, Ken Westphal and Lynne Westphal.
