She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin Harper; her parents, Ray Lyda and Thelma Lyda; and her sister Gail Wilson. She is survived by: her sons, Ricky (Kathy) of Oakboro, NC and Chris (Marie) of Reidsville, NC; her granddaughters, Morgan Anderson (Colton Anderson), Sydney Jackson (Isaac Jackson) and Jenna Harper; her great grandchildren, Caden Harper, Camden Anderson, Cash Anderson and Easton Jackson; her nieces, Vickie Bradley, Kim Hensley and Kayson Fulbright; and her nephew Keith Wilson.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of either Union or Mecklenburg County or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
