He was predeceased by: his wife Yvonnia Elrod; his daughter Sherri Elrod; his parents, Bennie Elrod and Ruby Mahallie Elrod; and his brothers, Carl Elrod and Jerry Elrod.
He is survived by: his daughter Rita Miles; and his siblings, Walker Elrod, Delois Holland, Cynthia Ellison, Angela Elrod and Belinda Smith.
