She is survived by: her son Donald B. Smith, Jr.; her grandchildren, Devere B. Smith, Richalle V. Sullivan and Dioris L. Smith; her daughters-in-law, Allison Strong-Smith and Denise Richards-Smith; and her close friend Madeline Stewart.
